Film & Virtual Exhibit
On April 15, 1912, Buffalo architect Edward Austin Kent was among the 1,500 people to perish in the R.M.S. Titanic disaster. His legacy lives on in the architecture of many significant buildings in Buffalo. I created a short film and a companion interactive application to commemorate Kent’s achievements and his final adventure.
Short Film
Constructed as a series of vignettes about Kent's life, the film offers us glimpses of Kent's architectural career and his fateful night on the R.M.S. Titanic.
Local News Coverage
Channel 2 in Buffalo interviewed us about our film and Kent's story on board the Titanic.
App
Accompanying the film’s premiere was an interactive application that overlayed historical elements in the physical space of the Buffalo History Museum. The app featured chapters from the full-length film as well as additional historical information about Kent’s life.
Exhibit Companion Booklet
I wrote a booklet detailing Kent's life and story on the Titanic from historical documents and photographs to supplement the short film and virtual exhibit.
